Portuguese Diaspora

I’ve been shooting food and lifestyle and travel for well over 20 years and I’ve had the good fortune to work for so many great publications but a magazine that has eluded me all this time was Condé Nast Traveler. That is until Senior Visuals Editor Pallavi Kumar came calling. She approached me to do a piece on the Portuguese food diaspora in Massachusetts, specifically in Fall River and Boston. No chance I was saying no to that one. The whole job really took me back to my family’s trip to Lisbon and the Azores Islands right before the Covid epidemic.
