Condé Nast Traveler: Chicago

Early this spring, Condé Nast Traveler packed me off to Chicago for a week to photograph a story for the magazine. It had been a good, long time since my last visit to the Windy City, but it was just as fabulous as I had remembered it. It was my usual brief of people, places, food and city-scapes. Perusing the shot-list I noticed Nick Cave and I thought, “I didn’t realize the musician lived in Chicago”. Edible Boston: 18 Years On

I took note of some interesting leads and then looked up Ilene’s contact info in the mast head. We had lunch a few days later and she asked me if I wanted to shoot for the magazine - just like that. And in the blink of an eye it’s been 18 years.
